The city’s vibrant art scene is buzzing and full of surprises – and the last few months of 2025 is the perfect time to discover its creative side. Collectors, curators and the culturally curious will find much to appreciate as prime exhibition spaces and streets across the city showcase collections of both ancient treasures and cutting-edge creations.
Lovers of modern art should not miss the chance to experience the tail end of Art Macao, where global artists like Xu Bing, Ann Hamilton, and Gregor Schneider are captivating audiences with innovative paintings and installations. Until 15 October, museums and key spots around the city are alive with their thought-provoking art and more, giving audiences a peek at some of the coolest contemporary works around.

But the art journey doesn’t stop there. Macao’s luxury hotels and resorts are also playing host to dynamic exhibitions. Galaxy Macau is now home to the multidisciplinary art of renowned French interior designer Bruno Moinard, whose never-before-seen paintings and sketches, along with his colourful design ideas for the upcoming Capella Macau, are exhibited at the resort’s GalaxyArt space until 31 December 2025.
History buffs and Chinese art enthusiasts will find a rich tapestry of tradition at Wynn’s “Hello China, Hello Macao” exhibition. Running until 19 October, this immersive digital experience traces the journey of Jingdezhen porcelain from the Song through Qing Dynasties. Stunning projections transport visitors back in time to ancient workshops, revealing the craftsmanship behind these traditional pieces, before kicking things up a notch by featuring the works of contemporary ceramic masters like Lu Ru and Liu Wenbin.
Wynn Resorts Macau has launched the “Hello China, Hello Macao” exhibition showcasing the history and artistry of Jingdezhen porcelain.
For a deeper dive into cultural history, the PolyMGM Museum’s new exhibition, “Silk Roads Beyond Borders”, opens on 1 October. Featuring over 200 rare artefacts, live performances, and mesmerising light shows, it offers a captivating exploration of the Silk Road’s role in fostering cultural exchange across continents.
Tech-driven masterpieces and the art of the future are also part of the lineup. From 29 September to 16 November, to coincide with the Macao Grand Prix, Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace will host an exclusive display of over 20 hypercars. Highlights include a Lamborghini Huracán adorned with Japanese streetwear brand A Bathing Ape’s signature camouflage print and a McLaren 600LT that that Swiss artist Saiff Vasarhelyi will spray paint in a one-of-a-kind collaboration.
